Spinach with rice

Today, we will see a very tasty and misunderstood recipe by our children, the spinach with rice (Σπανακόρυζο - Spanakorizo). It has a great value in our diet due to its high content of B-vitamin C, but has not managed to be loved by our children's stomachs. Let see a recipe together, for a very tasty spinach with vegetables and lemon.
 


Materials
1/2 kg of spinach
1 cup of Greek coffe, rice Carolina
1 large onion finely chopped
1 cluster garlic sliced
1 large ripe tomato, grated
1 carrot cut
1 large potato cubed potato
2 tbsp Dill finely chopped
olive oil
1/2 lemon
700ml water
salt
pepper

In Practice
In a saucepan, we let the olive oil warm up. Once it's ready, we pour the onion with the garlic to chew for 1-2 '. After we washing the spinach thoroughly, pour it in and mix for 3 'until it starts to stick. Next, pour all the remaining ingredients and we let them boil over a high heat. Once the boiling starts, we lower the eye and with half-closed lid let the food boil down for about 30-35 '. After the passage of time, we try the rice, we see if the soup is ready and we take it out of the fire. The spinach with rice (Spanakorizo) is ready and served with lemon and feta cheese.
